If you've been following the Primaries in the USA you would have heard that Barack Obama is trailing behind Hilary Clinton in the polls for the Democratic nod. Just when I was getting depressed my boy Barack decided to bring out the secret weapon, the unstoppable, mass appealing force and influencer of public thought....Oprah Winfrey!
Oprah's been hitting the campaign trail with the Obamas, and most recently joined him at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, Rhode Island.
This is pure genius. If there's anyone who's loved and admired by a huge cross-section of American society, it's Oprah. Of course, there're some people who feel she'll overshadow the Presidential hopeful but I doubt it.
Well, Hilary has Bill and now Barack has Oprah. I think the playing field is looking a little more level now....
